On June 1, 1993, Gregory L. Sullivan purchased ABC from Leo Dumouchelle. Mr. Sullivan’s main goal was to differentiate himself from his competitors in San Luis Obispo as virtually all bail bond companies charge the same premium to bail a person charged with a crime. He believed professionalism and service were the ways to offer more to his clients. So, on May 1, 1994, Mr. Sullivan became the first bail bond agency to open an office in downtown San Luis Obispo. Soon thereafter, ABC Bonding joined the California Bail Agents Association and the Tri-Counties Better Business Bureau.
ABC has been fortunate, in that a majority of its business comes in the form of referrals from the legal community. Our slogan remains: “It is better to know us and not need us, than to need us and not know us“. Now you know us, and our new convenient location. We do appreciate your business!
