Summary

The University of California Office of the General Counsel seeks an attorney for the Oakland office with a minimum of five years of experience in Construction Law to provide legal services systemwide. The Office of the General Counsel is collaborative, supportive, respectful of differences, and committed to fairness and diversity in all our interactions. Preferred experience includes: public competitive bidding law, design and construction contract drafting, negotiation and mediation with public and private entities, robust litigation experience, interaction with other government agencies, coordination with real estate development, and developing strategies for risk mitigation. Must be in good standing with the CA Bar. Salary range midpoint is $184,100k. Salary is commensurate with experience.
